Hey! It’s pretty awesome. The course covers all aspects of the industry (business, management, production/digital production, recording engineering, theory etc). Being really into engineering and production myself, I’m in the studio as much as possible. We have 3 main studios (studio 3 consisting of 3 individual smaller ones). All equipped with high end microphones ready to use. Not sure what your forte is, but most of the faculty have pretty high positions in the Canadian music industry. So its definitely worth getting to know them. Not to mention their stories are awesome haha.
Hey guys. I’m taking the Music Industry Arts program at Fanshawe College in London, On. I meet new musicians every day. I started a band with a couple buddies the first month into the semester, we play progressive/alternative rock. A little heavy at times, a little soft. We call ourselves The Baxters. We’re working on a self titled EP, trying to release it before Christmas. Being in a program with recording engineering classes and pre-booked studio times proves to be a bit of a bonus as far as getting our stuff recorded ASAP. 2 more songs on the way. Hope you enjoy!
